Highlighting the role and accomplishments of the Greek Diaspora, the Ambassador of Greece to the United States Alexandra Papadopoulou delivered the keynote address at the 79th Annual National Convention of the Evrytanian Association in South Carolina.

During her visit, the Ambassador met with Congressman Rep. William Timmons; the 85th Lieutenant Governor of South Carolina and the first Greek-American elected to the South Carolina State Legislature, Nick Theodore; the President of the University of South Carolina, Michael D. Amiridis; the President of the Evrytanian Association, James Nelson Chulkas; and members of the Greek community.
